A very fashionable friend informed me of united nude shoes. Given the myriad of shoes out there I am naturally curious why she is loyal to this particular brand. Well, a little browsing and too much salivating later I got my answer. The brand is a collaboration between an architect and a shoemaker. Their collections sprung from fields as far flung from fashion as mathematics to closer disciplines such as furniture. No matter how obscure the root of the collection, the designers are always able to translate their initial inspiration to relevant and visually stunning end products - functional, walkable footwear.
