the dark power is strong

A few years ago, Ann Demeulemeester introduced a pair of triple lace boots. I was speechless upon seeing the runway picture. It was the perfect fusion of victorian, goth, punk, nomad, count dracula and everything black magic. Those boots have been haunting me ever since. Every year the collection gets better, with the same intense dark allure. Tim Burton would have loved to clad his heroine - embodied to perfection in flesh and blood by Daiane Conterato - in Ann Demeulemeester.
